The most un-pastry pastry stout I’ve had! Tons of chocolate and hints of coffee, and nothing more flavours wise. Mouthfeel is somewhere between imperial milk stout and and oatmeal stout, it’s got body, is effortlessly smooth and not overly sweet, in fact it isn’t sweet at all considering. If you see this beer on a shelf in your local bottleshop, snap it up. M&S lawyers have apparently been calling all online retailers with cease and desist notices that come in to effect next week so this won’t be widely available much longer. Unless you’re not in the UK, in which case ignore the last paragraph. 😁 Enjoy 👍

This is absolutely phenomenal At nearly 1000 beers this is hands down one of the best. Top 5 for sure. Incredibly silky mouth feel the flavours cling to the palate and gives a lasting taste which is definitely reminiscent of a chocolate cake. The only fault I can find is it's a small 330ml can.... That said it's a 12.4% stout and therefore a rather non sessional beer
