Slightly lighter in look than most porters, however it has a lovely smooth flavour with a nice maltiness balanced with an underlying fruity flavour

Not jet black but deep brown colour to this brew, a very lively pour leaving only trace golden head behind. Roasty malt on the nose with a backing of satsuma like citrus fruit.
Surprisingly light for its 7.1% ABV, but then it is a porter. Light in the mouth with a extending finish. Chocolate and bitter coffee with a roasty marmite initially, which extends out in the finish but it joined by suggestions of a IPAs fruit.
It's smooth and easy going yet big boy flavour. I'd say there not enough of choc for me, but then I do prefer a stout to a porter generally.
Complex and light but still I wouldn't claim it's approachable to a pale ale drinker.

Big bold flavours yet smooth and mellow, essentially a dry hopped Porter.
Lots of fruitiness in grapefruit and tangerine, sitting atop a silky smooth roast malt profile.
