Firstly, this can I've got is 7% not 7.5% as is listed on pint please, there's a can design difference and also it's an imperial stout dunno about Baltic porter.
Anyway, it's an opaque milk chocolate/ muddy brown colour with a coffee crema coloured head. Roasted malts and barley on the nose with a hint of dark espresso.
This is quite bright for a stout initially and then the malts really swell in after that and intensify. It's got sparkling carbonation, where I'd prefer a smooth nitro style but then that's not what this brew is about. It's not thick in the mouth but the amount of flavour makes you not think about that.
Roasted malts and barley of stout really goes well with coffee, it's tried and trusted and works here too. Kind of reminds me of other stouts but as I say, it's a classic combo.
Not as exciting as Goat Smoker or Stoutzilla, my two favourites to date but it has its own charm, being the old style it's taken on via an original 19th century recipe. The malts are very well used to be dark, toasty and malty without being too much like marmite from the yeast. It's growing on me more, despite the unwanted carbonation the taste is rich and great really.

Une stout elle a tout ce que l'on attend d'une stout mais rien de spécial, juste bonne 👌
