Sharp sugary notes on the nose , cherry , plum..
Certainly sour on initial coating of the palate ,no way near as sharp and fruity as the other Holy Goat i had today but it's perhaps a little more to my taste as i've never forced myself to drink sours up until the last year or so , i'll strive to better myself however.
If you like real sours then i suppose this company is one to earmark .

Pale golden hue with only slight haze and fast disappearing head, though this sour of course is highly carbonated. Fresh a light aroma of general sour, barley and wheat.
A holy goat with no fruit is a bit odd, instead opting for using honey probably for a fast turnaround to get this beer out and proceeds onto Ukraine, quite rightly, whilst also leaning on the mead times of old.
I was pleased to see a new favourite brewer of mine do a collab with VarVar, like many others this year, so a no brainer purchase.
Instant sour tang from the signature holy goat Belgian yeast and a gentle sweetness from the honey. There's not alot to it, a simple sour made with the basics; barley, wheat, yeast, oats and honey. The magic is in the yeast really, bringing sour citrus and stone fruit flavours.
It's a nice and farmhousey golden sour, refreshing and easy drinking even at 7.4% ABV.
