A black IPA brewed with coffee. Sounds like this will be interesting, but they had me at coffee. Nose is huge coffee. I'm getting some chocolate as well. Little bit of hoppiness hidden underneath. This has a light, yet sharp hop bite. Coffee shows up first and strongest of the flavors, with some chocolate and a little bit of vanilla following. Has a pretty solid mouthfeel that's on the slightly lighter side of being thick. This is very well balanced. I love coffee in beer, but despite the fact that there could be more coffee in here, I actually think that would hurt this beer. This is tasty and unique to me, since I've never tried a coffee flavored black IPA. The bitterness lingers as I continue to enjoy this. Very well done and I'm glad I picked this up. 4.25/5
