First thing you notice is how soft it is. Gentle and creamy. Spice, dark fruit, probably figs. A natural molasses sweetness envelops the overall flavor. Late in the middle, a very faint char arrives. Finish continues the robust flavor with the addition of some bitterness from hops that lingers for a continued presence. Overall, a very enjoyable Stout that hides the 9.7% behind a mountain of flavor.
