Having this Texas Ingenious beer with my son on Duo. Started having nostalgia photos that prolongs this collaboration way too long. Damn how the years fly by. I bought this beer while in Texas thinking it was a stout. Turns out it is a cherry and chocolate sour. Oh well, cross our fingers and hope for the best. Almost no head on this brew. Sour aroma of sweet cherries. Very hazy orangish yellow color. Light, almost juice like texture. Tart, almost sour cherries with very faint notes of milk chocolate in the background. Finish is no different. Lingers a while and is gone without a trace. I have never been a fan of sours, but this is not bad. The sour cherries and faint chocolate are agreeable and have a low sour threshold that I can enjoy. Probably won't try this again but it was interesting.
