Aika makea, maltainen, korianteria ja kevyttä hedelmäisyyttä. Vähän hiivaakin löytyy mausta. Kohtuullinen.

Happy Wappu! 🎈🥳🍩🍻 Tomorrow is Labor Day which is a public holiday. Hence, a beer or two tonight. This Lentebok is a spring beer anyway. Transparent amber. That's the appearance of this beer. The carbonation is fairly obedient and unlocks a cloud-white head that exceeds one finger. The foamy cap declines to a dense lace ring and a hair-thin haze on the surface. The nose receives sweet-leaning biscuit malt, as if sugared, fruity notes such as orange peel and apricot, as well as soft yeast and an illusion of coriander seed. The sweetness indicates clearly that this is a Dutch version (Lentebok) of a Heller Bock. The tastebuds are prepared for a sweet influx but manage the situation well. The sweetness is very controlled and rather moderate in general. The malty element is powerful, slightly harsh and less biscuity than that in the fragrance. The yeast shrinks but doesn't go completely hiding. Lemon peel substitutes for orange peel, accompanied maybe also by pith. There's a distinct spice/herb factor involved but I wouldn't associate it with coriander seed but rather whitepepper. The body is light-medium. Not particularly massive but still sufficient in my mind. And doesn't allow any alcoholic tang to leak from the cocktail to the palate. The end is a tad more bitter and spiced but otherwise as for the components pretty similar to upfront. The mouthfeel is light-medium, spiced, herbal, a bit husky, somewhat dry and drying. All in all, a tasty piece!
