This one is spicy that leans towards light+ cinnamon, light ginger, light nutmeg, very light clove and a hint of white pepper. It has just the right mixture as none are overwhelming with the taste lingering in the mouth. Has some slightly sweet malt with some honey to it that adds a nice sweetness that works well with the spicy aspects. Overall it’s a fairly complex beer with all aspects just meshing together very well.

1/21/2022 tried another of the PhD beers at Cloverleaf. It had a strong flavor that I couldn't really recognize, and between that and the high ABV it was definitely a slow sipper. Liked the company better than the beer. Probably not a buy.
