Carob Mel Sutra
10.0% Bière de Garde
Similar to a Belgian saison, this Biére de Garde is chestnut brown in color with malty, nutty-sweetness and notes of coffee and cocoa. Rich, but not heavy with a clean and smooth finish, whether you crack it open this season, or cellar it for next, you’ll delight its indulgent loveliness.

Another beer share with my son. This is one of my favorite breweries Duclaw. Dark bronze color, clear when held up to the light. Faint dark malt and raisin aroma. Soft texture. Has a gently cooked dark, almost black, malt. Brings a gentle bittersweet and faintly tart dark fruit flavor with notes of prune juice. As the finish begins to show, a lightly sweet milk chocolate appears on the back of the tongue. Gradually disappears, bringing a delicate sour character, both timid and sharp. My son, an IPA lover, absolutely hated this beer. Took one sip and gave me his half. I actually think the beer is okay having never had this style before. Reminds me of a brown ale. This is not one of my favorite brews but I'm a long way from hating it. I would have another if there was an absence of better choices.
