2021 Christmas Advent Beer Day 20 A third Sour Wars which means I’ve had the entire series in my advent which is totally awesome! This one totally overwhelms you at first with a big sour tart hit of flavour. Once that initial shock is over further sips start to reveal the complexities of the beer and individual flavours. It’s really good! Tropical fruit flavours dominate giving a tropical sweetness. These balance well with the citrus fruit coming through too. I’m getting lots of vanilla and dark sugar notes as well as a hint of charred oak. As the beer warms and my palate adjusts it’s just a hugely sippable flavour exploration. Fantastic beer!
