Todella hedelmäinen tuoksu, ehkä jopa hapan. Maku on myös kovin metsäinen hedelmäinen. Todella hyvä uuden Panimon ensikertalaiseksi!

The first ever Pirkanmaa Sahti Days! This small event is decentralized in several places, and each has a few different Sahtis. This place has three Sahtis, one of which I actually bought yesterday at Olarin Panimo. It didn't convince me, let's see how these two other brews dance. First, a première Sahti by Himo (Tampere) in collaboration with Rocking Bear Brewsters: The Sahti colors murky, light brown. A faint lace ring adorns the top for quite some time. The scent is first vegetal. A bit like cucumber. 🥺 It fades away soon and gives room for moderate malt and truly remote banana. Good! The taste improves drastically from the fragrance: I'm getting hefty malt, a tad sweet actually, and moderate banana. Juniper can also be detected easily. Additionally, I find cookie, raisin and lingonberry in tiny proportions. The body is medium-full. The finish gears even more in a berry-like direction. It leaves a sweet, lip-glueing sensation on the tongue for some time. The mouthfeel is relatively full, a tad sticky, refreshing, velvety and thick. The first impression isn't too attractive but it improves quickly and compensates for the slow start.
