Very distinct bitterness, almost sharp on the tongue. Roasty! No coconut though!

Coconut isn’t as prominent as I’d have liked, but I’m not complaining, this is the real deal with no essences used. It’s roasty with a hint of smoke. The barrel presents itself I’m by the way of charred oak. Bitterness is prominent and I can’t decipher whether that’s the chinook hops, the astringent roast malt or a combination of both… This beer’s been in my fridge for well over two years now. Held up well and tasted great, just no coconut.

Uusi olut Pintissä. Todella lähellä alkuperäistä hyvää Hel & Verdoemenis -olutta, muuta tässä kookos jää kyllä johonkin taustalle. Harmi. RIS-oluena edelleen yksi de Molenin parhaimpia olutsarjoja.
