Enjoying another unusual barrel-aged beer with my son-in-law at Galveston Bay Brewing.
Opaque brown color. Boozy. Aroma with some coffee mixed in. Flavor brings out some alcohol but it's dominated by a 8-hour old coffee that's both bitter with hints of sweetness. Finish brings forth a quick disappearing ending. For a strong bourbon barrel brew, this is surprisingly drinkable.
