Toast to our 33rd anniversary with this imperial homage to Black Butte Porter. This edition is a real feat, marrying maple, chocolate, vanilla and bourbon barrel aging in a truly celebratory beer.

Oikein hyvä. Makeahko. Bourbon maku ei tule läpi.

In Texas having another interesting beer with family. This is a limited release 33rd anniversary beer that is modified every year.
Pours with as little head as I remember ever seeing in a beer. Opaque brown color. Aroma of bourbon and wet dog. You think I'm joking, seriously, wet dog. Thankfully the flavor had no dog. Texture is soft, not thick as a 12% brew can be. Very boozy, alcohol dominates but not with an overpowering bourbon. A burnt chocolate, almost charred, blended with faint notes of vanilla. Finish continues with alcohol and bitter sweet chocolate.
This is a good beer for a night cap to send you to a good night's sleep.
