Utuisen samea, kuparinvärinen olut. Maltainen, makeahko tuoksu josta löytyy myös erikoista kirpeyttä. Maku makeahkon maltainen. Erikoinen, kirpehkö sivumaku hallitsee. Vähän aprikoosia. Tuo mieleen lähinnä vierteen tyypillisen tuoksun.

Saksalaistyyppinen juhlaolut kuten nimikin kertoo. Maukas, kepeä, ja hyvällä tavalla tuttukin. Onnistunut panimotuote.

Oktoberfestbier in May... This is almost expiring, the best before will be next month. Certainly not fresh. Anyway, looks malty. Transparent copper is the color. A one-finger dense yellowish head is the baby of the obedient carbonation. Retains long on the top. Malty scent. Graham cracker. Grassy hops. A proposal of dried apricot. Relatively suppressed though. The malty punch reaches quickly the tastebuds. Rather grainy it is, even marginally worty. Seasoned with grassy hops and honey. Otherwise very basic but honey gives an unpredictable tweak to it. Overall, this doesn't impress me. Maybe the age is gnawing the drinkability. The body is light to light-medium. I have seen the end already. Sounds dramatic, I know. Anyway, it's identical to the actual taste. Do it crazy, do your best, the aftertaste is at Oktoberfest. The mouthfeel is somewhat light, faintly crisp, lip-glueing and classical. I had a meal with this beer, it works alright as an accompaniment. Would it also perform solo? I'm not convinced.
