Richly decadent, this voluptuous dessert will seduce and ravage your taste buds, then cuddle with them in the afterglow. Hints of cherries intermingle with a malt forward, dark chocolate mouthfest, finishing dry and savory. Best enjoyed slightly chilled, in a Belgian tulip or sniffer.

Enjoying this as a Duo with my son-in-law in Houston. Watching Alabama start the season off right. Brought this back as a red waxed top excellent beer from Buffalo Bayou in Houston.
Been saving this a long time with very high expectations. Faint chocolate aroma. Very moderate head. Medium thick head that is strongly semi-sweet with strong overtones of cherries. Has an earthy essence that ends with a semi sweet raw bitterness.
I know my expectations were too high. I have been to this brewery and it is fantastic. How I was hoping this was going to be a 5.0 but sadly it's going to be just a bit below that.
