With my son-in-law at Galveston Bay Brewing enjoying number four on a flight of four. Have enjoyed this out of a can but never on tap. Another bronze medal winning beer.
Deep brown opaque color. Strong French roast coffee aroma. Texture is both crisp and thin. Deep roasted coffee flavor transitioning into a raw bitter Cocoa chocolate. Very easy going into the finish, lightly bitter coffee with the smallest amount of roasted chocolate remaining. Understand why it won an award.

Another beer brought back from Texas, this one from Galveston Bay Brewing out on Galveston Island.
Minuscule tan head, it's not lasting very long. Sweet roasted aroma. Medium texture that is crisp and dry. Flavor is bittersweet, mostly bitter, strong French roast coffee. Finish continues with the roasted French coffee with very subtle notes of raw cocoa as it abruptly ends. A light lingering bitterness remains long after this last mouthful.
I love this Stout. It's not my favorite dessert stout, enjoyed late at night, sip by sip. This feels more like an afternoon winter, sitting in front of a hot fire. Strong and bold, slap in face, wakes you up from a tough day type of brew. Nothing delicate about it. Now I need to go to the brewery and try this on tap. Perhaps this October.
