This is suppose to be a cross of a west coast and a hazy IPA. It does not taste as advertised to me. This beer is supposed to “combine the clean crisp bitterness of a West Coast IPA and the softness of a hazy”. It has virtually no bitterness or west coast taste. Now it does taste fruity, like a hazy. Now the fruit is supposed to be “juicy notes of orange, passion fruit and nectarine.” I keep getting a strawberry taste with what does seem like light nectarine. There is something else there but can’t put a finger on it as it is muted. Overall it does taste good. Just doesn’t meet up with the can description. It definitely needs more bitterness and malt profile if they are trying to get some west coast in there. They’d be better off just listing as an IPA without much detail. 3.5 in taste. 3.0 in meeting expectation.
