Pale straw and clear with only a slight haze and minimal visible carbonation. Sharp stone fruit and citrus on the nose. Though I'm just getting a cold which is inhibiting me.
First sip is not overly sour nor is it very sharp actually. There's a bit of umami from the short wheaty finish. Easy drinking citrus sour for many to enjoy. It's not as special as other Holy Goat Brews, it's one you can knock back without guilt of not savouring each gulp. Still the quality is there and it has bright fruit as opposed to the Ukrainian benefit brew which just relies on honey. Sharp-ish orange citrus is the main-stay here, and it's where it starts and ends. It's simple and delicious.
