Having this Martin House, Fort Worth, Texas beer with my son-in-law on Duo. He's had it before and has been looking forward to this one. The moment I opened the can I could smell the sweet maraschino cherry aroma of this amaretto stout. Forgot to take the photo early and missed the moderate chocolate colored head. Wonderful amaretto and milk chocolate aroma. Smooth and creamy texture, thick but not syrupy. Amaretto flavor comes fast and smoothly glides into the sweet deep dark chocolate. Never found the pecans. The finish is not weak, extends the powerful bittersweet dark chocolate and the amaretto flavor, just keeps going. This is so good, I continue to enjoy the aroma in the glass while taking tiny sips to make it last as long as I can. Sending my son-in-law to see if he can find more of this.
