With my son-in-law in Houston at our third brewery of the day. Fourth beer on this flight. Dark brown opaque color. Strong aroma of malt and bourbon. Wow! Just when I thought this brewery was going to get an overall poor rating, they hit me with this. Strong, boozy bourbon barrel flavor starts this beer. Quickly followed by intense bittersweet milk chocolate flavor and then the finish produces a 2-day-old roasted coffee. The brewery definitely redeemed themselves with this recipe. Excellent.
