Celle qui te serre Le houblon est à la bière ce que les épices sont à la cuisine. Des arômes généralement fruités avec de l’amertume : agrumes et fruits exotiques, avoir le gosier solide !

The first impression that I get of this beer is the ridiculous effervescence. It almost ruins my experience as the froth wants to overpour out of the can and glass no matter what. The foam just keeps coming out, like forever. But then eventually, it calms down. Now that I'm able to see the beer, and not just the colossal soapy foam, I can verify that the tint is hazy, pale lemon yellow. And yes, the head is magnificent, a baby of the hyperactive carbonation. The scent mixes effectively citrusy, tropical, floral and perfumy aromas into one mess. The citruses are sweet, like mandarin and blood orange, whereas the tropical fruits include mango and honeydew. However, the dominant vibe resembles blossoming jasmine that also brings in some kind of perfumy layer. A bit perplexing, I wish the floral–perfumy vibe didn't exist and disturb me. Fortunately, the taste hasn't been "contaminated" with jasmine or perfume. Fruity it is. Lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, carambola, mango and mandarin are the individual fruits. Hoppy, too, but with the above mentioned fruity elements. Only a bit of grass can also be detected. Overall, the palate is relatively creamy. The body is medium-full. Both the creaminess and the effervescence may actually put steroids into the impression of the maltbase, as a consequence of which it can even be characterized as full. The beer ends with loads of fruits, predominantly citruses but also the other, more tropical nuances. The aftertaste fades completely out after not-so-long a while. The mouthfeel is full, creamy, soft and smooth. It's also tropical, juicy and pulpy. And ridiculously effervescent, at least in the beginning. This would otherwise be a 4 star beer but the odd fragrance and the stupid foaming reduce its rating a bit.
