Yikes, where’d this bad boy come from?! What a fruity number! This would be a serious gateway beer for the hazy IPA crowd to dip a toe into the dark side.
Smooth and easy drinking with such a fruitiness to it. The dry hopping is the key to this beer’s success most notably the Sabro which gives boundless coconut flavour and aroma.
Rattlesnake Chalice by NeonRaptor was my favourite Cascadian Dark Ale from this side of the pond until I drank this. It’s now this beer, absolutely!
Most black IPAs we get here are poor imitations of the true Cascadian Darks, but these two have set the benchmark that UK/European brewers should aim for going forward.
