New beer in Pint Please and the second beer in the miniseries of beers celebrating Mark Rothko. If you don't know who Mark Rothko is, go check my review on the Mark #1.
First beer was vanilla, chocolate and banana Imperial Pastry Stout and this one has peanut butter instead of vanilla.
0,5l can from beer tumbler. Canned 11.02.21.
Black beer with thin brown foam. Looks a bit thin.
Nose has chocolate sauce, coffee and banana.
Carbonation is very low. Mouthfeel has some cocoa powder and oily sensation, but it's a bit thin.
Very similar taste with the Mark #1. Liquid chocolate and banana ice cream. Some dark roast coffee, bitter dark chocolate and peanut butter. Sweet caramel, chocolate cupcakes and milky latte. Very tasty and balanced.
No bitterness in the end, just sweet chocolate sauce and overripe bananas.
Delicious Pastry IS. Not as mind-blowing as Mark #1, but very enjoyable. With thicker mouthfeel and more peanut butter this could pass the 4,5⭐ mark. Mark.. hehhe...
