Longueur assez incroyable, expressif et doux. Réglisse et du Bourbon partout, excellent.

Duo beer brought back from Texas to enjoy with the son-in-law. Prairie Artisan Ales always comes through.
Chocolate head disappears immediately. Not one photon of light can pass through this liquid. Swirl the glass and it coats it with a tan film. Aroma is not good. Smells like nail polish and some kind of rotten fruit. What the hell is that? First sip lets you know that this is a powerful, very powerful flavor. Bourbon barrel alcohol, toasted coconut, rich deep roasted malt, very dark chocolate. The finish exposes an even stronger 14.2% alcohol, a very dark fruit, dried dates, and a dark somewhat sour but still sweet cocoa. And it lives forever in your mouth.
While most good stouts have flavors that are smooth and blend together, this isn't it. It's powerful, and each flavor has a robust competition to be dominant. As you drink it, one flavor rises to the top and then on a later sip, another one will. Although these flavors don't seem to blend together, each fighting for dominance, the battle is wonderful. Enjoyment of each is entertaining, mysterious, wondering what comes next. Even as it warmed, the flavors evolved. Strange, but I love this beer.

Tasting - ilta.....
Aivan hämmentävän kova. Niin tasapainossa kaikki. Upea bourbon tässä.

2020 edition.
Chocolate coffee liqour scent. Milky it is, with load of cocoa nibs.
Taste of cocoa coffee liqour, then some coconut, load of bourbon, boozy kicking finish. Bit oily, medium strong body.
Nice flavours. Really surprising that coffee cocoa liqour feel it has.

Beer #2400
Bourbon, marshmallow, chocolate and a little bit of coconut in the aroma. Taste has marshmallow, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and coconut. Very tasty.
The body is almost full, with a smooth mouthfeel and low carbonation.
At first, I wished the coconut was stronger, but upon looking at the review for the regular version of Weekend, there was too much going on with the stronger coconut flavor. This one has a much better balance, so I'm fine with it the way it is.
