Enjoyed at the end of a long night of home brew, this was the perfect antidote to the tiresome I felt. Caramel and bourbon in equal measures amidst a thick oily mouthfeel with waves of complex malt to back it up. A sublime sipper from Nerd Brewing. Their pastry stouts are pretty decent but these barrel aged beers are definitely a notch above the rest!

Bourbon, chocolate, vanillaish bourbon. Licorice. Fluid but full body. Nicely warming. Oh, it was almost 15% abv. Didn't expect that. Very nice, smooth sipper.
