New beer in PintPlease. There is one with 10% abv. Cervisiam - Gryla Imperial Pecan Cheesecake Pastry Stout 12%. Xmas 2020. I sure do like the name of this one. Pours opaque and pitch black in color with a brown tall head that dissipates quickly away. You know I'm into sweet stuff and this sure gives the sweet scent on the nostrils. Sweet vanilla and dessert cake-like aroma hits you right away. Whole lots of nuts such as pecan, peanut and hazelnut, lovely. Chocolate also. Though a bit boozy I have to admit. Sure is sweet and me likey. Sugary, sweet pastry-like cake stuffed in the throat with a vanilla coating. Lots of nuts as I mentioned on the aroma and a nice touch of chocolate. A bit boozy in the end but doesn't bother me at all. Mouthfeel is semi-thick and leaves a satisfying sticky feeling on the lips. Should drink more of these pastry stouts. Barcode leads to Krampus 2.
