My top three brewery's are Deya, Polly's and Unbarred. Admittedly it is probably due to a lack of diversity and I wonder if any of them will be top in the years to follow.
Shaky Tail is a double dry hop celebration of Simcoe. It's pale and hazy as fook, in fact it looks like pineapple juice.
The aroma this gives is beautiful, tropical and citrus.
5.5% alcohol, very soft in the mouth like marshmallow, with medium+ body. It's fairly hefty actually, which may be due to this beers dankness.
There's an array of apricot, passionfruit, pineapple and slight yuzu in a fruit salad. That is to say, other than apricot, not one fruit flavour stands out.
This brew really shows off Simcoe and has given me a new appreciation for it's contribution to beers it often joins.
Tropical juice in a very hoppy manner, this is what it tastes like when you shove loads of hops in the dry hop; wasteful decadence, glorious it is.
If deya made a Saturated in Simcoe (I think they may have done actually,) it would be like this only with a bit more body and weight.
Having finished the can, I could go for another even though the intensity is still with me and my tongue is still dancing!
The first Polly brew from the box full I ordered has proven to me it was a wise purchase and I've still got the rest to look forward to!

Bien sympa

Canned 11/11/20.
Clear DDH. Nicely Simcoe flavour. Dank, pine, slight chalk. Light finish, typical for pale ales.
Good one. Nicely fresh, too. Goes well along cyberpunkin'.
