A Belgian-style dark strong ale that showcases notes of stone fruits and raisins. Dark amber in colour with a higher carbonation to keep the beer from feeling to heavy.

Regardless of its name, it's difficult to stay quiet about this beast of a brew.
Pouring a splendid deep copper, it builds a frothy off white head. It didn't last long but It may have been my glass.
Massive malts fill the nose with aromas of rich caramel, sweet syrupy grain, biscuit, a little wheat, and of course some yeast ester goodness. Oh and heart warming alcohol.
It's not surprising this style was brewed by monks, one sip brings the hallelujah and an oh my god.
Awesome sweet malt assault.
Rich deep caramel, grainy biscuit, spicy yeast notes and a little bit of fruitiness. Some dried fruit, something a bit like cola, and an amazing warming alcohol.
I like it.
