It was hoppy like the general lee... it’s boss hog in your mouth and it goes down smooth like daisy duke... I hate hoppy beers so that’s me writing something nice. I mean really what’s with all the hoppy beers? It’s like washing your mouth with beer and soap. But my fiancé really liked it...

Vraiment une bière avec une belle finale et une amertume très agréable.

This big beer produces some big hops aromas including tropical fruits, mango, apricot, passion fruit, lemon, citrus and pine. Honestly this has a lovely hops scent and is reminiscent of many fruits not exactly any of them. It pours a dark straw/gold and boasts a nice 2 finger head that (in my experience) didn't last long. In the mouth it is smooth and has a medium body to it. The mango and passion fruit really come out in the flavour as well as the pine and wheat. It is a little sweet in a nice way and only has a very little bitterness for the style. The bitterness does coat the tongue and then traps the alcohol in the resinous residue, which is more pleasant than it sounds as it warms the mouth and heart. I like my white IPAs a little more white, but this is an enjoyable and tasty brew.

Very hoppy but a wee bit bitter. Maybe because of the 9.2% alcohol. Still a very good beer!
