I pick up more of the Belgium quad with this one starting with dark fruit that leans towards raisin and dried fig. I also get some light + clove and spiciness. There is some stout presence with some chocolate and roasted malt but it is kind of subdued. Overall I find it pretty nice as it has aspects from 2 different styles that I love. Sir D - I find it interesting we had opposite opinions on this one. Makes me wonder if different batches have different tastes to it. Or maybe it’s just the taste to the beholder. 😄🍻😄

Collaboration between Alesmith (Speedway Stout) and Brewery Ommegang (Three Philosophers); is a blend of the two. This is Brewery Ommegang's version. This is interesting. I can definitely taste bits of both beers in this, with Speedway Stout being slightly more dominant. Sweet notes throughout mixed with a very tasty coffee stout. Different, yet delicious. I think I need more of this in my life. High 4.25/5 Edit: Makes me want a fresh Speedway Stout. Hopefully some shows up soon
