Canned on 24.9.2020 Temperature: +8 C Extremely thick and juicy looking beer. This seems to be a trademark of Polly's. The head is quite small, creamy layer with average retention. Not much lace. If the foam lasts a bit longer this would be a perfect looking NEIPA: 4,5/5 The nose is heavy with pineapple (another thing often common in Polly's beers). This comes together with a sweet peach and ripe citrus notes. Interesting mild vanilla scent as well. Thick and juicy is the aroma. Very nice. Eventually somewhat onesided and offers everything with the first sniff but still, more than ok: 4,25/5 Mouthfeel is medium and thick. Feels a bit pellety/grassy but that brings new layers into the beer. Low bitterness. I'm guessing this has had some hop burn but it's mellowed down since there's so much oily feel after sip: 4,25/5 Taste is more towards citrus and less on the tropical fruits. Also some malty notes but not much. Slightly grassy at the end, with minor wheat flavor as well. Good taste but the same thing as with the scent. This just offers everything with the first sip: 11/15 Well built, well-hopped NEIPA but just a tad too straightforward as there's not much new to be found after the first sniff and sip. Nevertheless, a fine beer from the brewery. I've not yet found the true diamond from Polly's but I'm guessing it's coming in the near future: 16/20 =40/50
