Comme une Hoppy Saison de la brasserie américaine Adroit Theory. Petit gush à l'ouverture. Saveurs du houblon Nelson Sauvin, je suis ravi. C'est léger, clair et fruité. Ça me convient allègrement.

2021 Christmas Advent Beer Day 14 Works Christmas outing cancelled at the last minute so instead of being a dribbling wreck in some shitty pub I’m still working. Fuck it, time for a beer! Looking forward to this one as it’s Adroit Theory and they’re ace! Considering the time of year this was brewed it’s summery appeal was obviously what they had in mind. Drinking it though has reminded me I should expand my horizons come the summer and saison’s should be part of that. Previous attempts have been hit and miss, some brilliant and some pretty crap. This however is a vibrant, juicy and spicy saison doing solid justice to the style all whilst pushing its boundaries. Flavour comes from the yeast and hops and both aren’t what I expected. Vinous notes are there, just. But this isn’t the hop profile you get from Nelson Sauvin in an IPA, this is subtle vinous notes but big juicy melon, love it! The yeast as well, it’s kept in check. The classic saison flavours are there but I wonder if they’ve blended the yeast or perhaps used a less volatile strain. Whatever they’ve done, it works. It’s so effervescent and ideal for a hot summer’s day. Top notch beer!

Saison américaine élaborée par Adroit Theory avec une robe trouble claire couleur paille. On retrouve bien le côté céréalier avec sur la fin le retour houblonné et vineux du Nelson Sauvin. C'est désaltérant avec un peu de goût mais ça reste très aqueux, très peu consistant. Vraiment du mal à apprécier ce style que je trouve trop basique.
