Nice caramel notes coming through in the aroma. Taste has huge caramel right up front. Dark fruits are next, primarily raisins and plums. This is pretty tasty. A little bit of booziness, but it is 12.5%. I'd love to try the bourbon barrel aged version one day, but this is a great beer as it is. High 4.25/5
