Musta olut sormenvahvuisella beigellä vaahdolla. Tuoksussa on siirappia, paahdetta ja tynnyriä. Olut on täyteläinen, hapokas, öljymäinen, makea ja pehmeä. Mausta löytyy paahdetta, kahvia, siirappia, bourbonia, suklaata ja mallasta. Mahtava olut. Bourbon-tynnyröinti sopii tähän ja tämä on juuri sopivan makea. Maut ovat hyvässä tasapainossa. C’est super chouette. Belle robe très sombre. Peu de carbo et de mousse mais ce n’est pas grave. En bouche le cask se sent bien avec une belle rondeur et une belle touche acide. Les 13 degrés ne se sentent pas. Magnifique bière

Dinner time. "Four Years Dinner" is a perfect choice for a dessert. Oily thick, opaque black beer flows in the snifter. Pleasant, nice-duration carbonation unlocks a bronze silky head that grows sluggishly, as if from the bottom upwards, two fingers tall. The foamy pillow is capped with bigger bubbles and dissipates gradually to a lovely coating on the top. Retention is substantially long. I raise the snifter close to my nose and inhale: a lovely smash of dark chocolate, cacao nibs, espresso and a good dollop of whisky. Soaked barrel emanates evidently to the nostrils. Delicate vanilla lingers almost secretly in the background and is joined by a bit of molasses and hints of sticky toffee and date. Attractively rich and multifaceted olfactory provision! 🖤🖤 I can't wait to take a big sip. And I don't need to. Here I go! Massive, thick molten chocolate and cacao nibs pour on my tongue. So surreal! 🖤🖤🖤 Vanilla has improved its status drastically. Molasses, damson, burned caramelized sugar and honey fight fiercely to get their silent voices heard while licorice finds an easier way out. Oakwood is very gentle. Attractive package indeed with a number of layers! And alcohol? Where is it? 13%. Dunno, can't locate it at all! The body is robust albeit the sweetness mesmerizes my senses profoundly. The first component in the finish is whisky-filled dark chocolate pralines. Bags of cacao nibs, syrup, vanilla and burned sugar step also forward in the end. Interestingly, a nuance of mocha is detectable now whereas I couldn't find it earlier on the tongue. Licorice and oak barrel haven't gone anywhere either. The aftertaste pours liquid chocolate all over the place and rolls on it while the tastebuds are staring in disbelief over long duration. The mouthfeel is full, truly round, somewhat sappy, sticky and strongly lip-glueing. It's definitely rich, barrel aged and deep as well as layered to some extent, hence, a tad complex. The warming sensation doesn't go unnoticed. Desserty and slow.

Kaatuu lasiin kohtalaisen sakean oloisena. Tuoksussa kevyttä Ylämaan wiskitynnyriä ja suklaisuutta. Eikä silmä valehdellut, suutuntuma on lähes siirappinen. Osaluettelossa on vain perus aineet, joten on ihmeteltävä näin vahvaa suklaisuutta. Wiski on myös hyvin esillä. Mietoa tynnyriä, savua ja vaniljaa. Jos näin on, että tämä on tehty pelkästään perusaineista, on todettava, että maltaita ei ole säästelty. Makeutta on melkein liikaa jopa minulle, tosin jälkimaun pieni karvaus tasaa lopputulosta.

Makeaa karamellisempaa sokerointia isketty aina maistuvan Bourbon tynnyröinnin kylkeen.Kivasti tulee tässä sellaista ei ihan palanutta puisuutta,vaan enemmän sellaista hennomman savuisempaa puisuutta.Maltaisuuskin on tässä jotenkin makeamman puoleista,kuin sen avustuksella siirrytytään eteenpäin.Suklaitten ja paahteisempien kahvien maailmaan🤤. Jälkimaku on tosiaan paahteisempi(kahvetta ja suklaata),myöskin mukava Bourbonin vivahde jää suuhun vellomaan. Suutuntuma voisi olla vähän runsaampi näille 13% (prosentit eivät tietenkään maistu yhtään maun puolella).Miellyttävän keskitäyteläistä, helpohkosti juotavaa ja kevyesti tahmaavaakin tavaraa se kyllä on. Makeat Bourbon tynnyröinnit😍Niille on vain paikka tämän maistelijan sydemmessä😅🤤. Osuu ja uppoaa 👊👌💥🎯
