First Prairie Artisan Ales for me. Collaboration with Cigar City Brewing.
Bottled on 23/03/19.
Pours opaque and deep dark brown in color with brown head reaching about the height of two fingers. It's big bubbled and dissipates instantly.
Nose gets quite a lot here; raw cocoa powder, dark chocolate and roasted malts. Coffee, liquorice and a touch of vanilla. Quite sweet which is the result of sweetend condensed milk.
At first it's liquorice which turns into salty liquorice afterwards. Dark chocolate, coffee and roastiness. Sweet condensed milk and I quess those Brazilian Bon Bons give also sweetness here. In the middle I get a bit of smokey character. To be honest vanilla isn't there. Slightly dry and at some point quickly bitter.
Semi-thick on the tongue, lip-glueing and sticky. Can't notice the 12% abv in it. Easy drinkable and smooth.
