Transparent, medium-brown beer with a ruby tint and a tad lively carbonation creates a cream-colored, bubbleless head that just covers the top. Soon the surface is adorned by a cute lace ring only. No splashes are left behind. Alcoholic tang as if sherry punches first the olfactory organ. Additionally, I can experience nuances of raisin and moderate prune. A semistrong alcoholic aroma reaches the taste receptors. I'm getting a mixture of sherry and red wine with faint tannines. Moreover, I can pick distant hints of raisin and prune that accompany rather sweet caramel malt and remote toffee. The body is medium-full. The finish shows one degree drier nuances than upfront, particularly slightly bitter malt with a caramelly twist and a suggestion of toffee. The dark fruit have gone hiding. The aftertaste moves to the history sooner than I expected. The mouthfeel is medium-full, a tad strong, moderately alcoholic, especially faintly tanninic and equally thinly vinous. It's also sticky and lip-glueing.

Tuhdin mäskinen, limppua, rusinaa, hiivaa, mallasta, turvetta ja ruista. Todella jykevä ja runsas makupaletti. Hieman sahtimainen koostumus, makeutta vahvasti myös. Alkoholi hienosti piilossa. Runkoa löytyy. Erillainen kuin mitä pitkälti viimeaikoina juonut, mukavaa vaihtelua. Kaikinpuolin onnistunut olut.
