Deep amber with visible carbonation and next to no head retention. Tropical and floral on the nose, pineapple from the mosaic and the I don't know what from the Azacca hops. Furthermore stone fruits are there like plum and peach and a hint of Clementine.
Pillowy soft with a full body and a quick finish. It has a tang to it and finishes almost dry. I'm not overly familiar with Azacca, when I've had it previously it's been party to a busier blend of hops, so having it share the stage with Mosaic is new. Pineapple is very subdued and overtaken by a tangy apricot and plum, there's no citrus sharpness, but a hint of sweetness and it's bitter like a conserve. Quite thick in texture, it's a big boy and you can't taste the alcohol explicitly nor is there any heat.
Clocking in at 7.8% ABV.
This brew is something a bit different whilst still a New England, I assume it's attributed to a large proportion of Azacca.

Yellow, cloudy, very juicy looking brew. Tall, airy head leaves behind some lace. The head could be denser: 4,25/5
The aroma is definitely faded. Still, dank pineapple supported by tropical fruitiness and even some bubblegum aroma. This is also heavy with citrus. I just wish I'd had this couple weeks younger: 4/5
Mouthfeel is medium-full, solid malty backbone! Nicely soft with a medium-high bitterness. The bitterness is clearly here but IMO it could be even stronger. After all, this is an Imperial IPA. Now it just doesn't quite feel like it: 3,75/5
Taste is dank, with citrus, pine, and tropical fruitiness. Also a slightly malty taste most likely from a combination of Vienna, oat, and wheat: 11/15
Pretty good beer. Sadly, the age is showing here and the hoppy aromas and flavors aren't that fresh anymore. Still, a dank character saves this a lot, and perhaps it is even more pronounced due to beer's age. Not the most aggressive Imperial IPA but a decent one still: 15,5/20
