A stout aged in Apple brandy barrels..... intriguing. Well this does not disappoint. It is a little sweet while mildly spicy. Hits you with light cinnamon, apple with just right amount of chocolate. The apple brandy does dominate but is not overwhelming. Hides the alcohol well. Overall this is just a well done combination. It was the last bottle at the bottle shop. If I see again I’m definitely grabbing. This would be a great sipper in the winter on a cold night Here it is with today’s pickings. Not as plentiful as previous picks but I did clear some out earlier in the week.

Chocolate and brandy with a little bit of apple in the aroma. Taste has chocolate and apple brandy. Sounds like a weird combination, but it's surprisingly tasty. Body is medium-full, mouthfeel is velvety smooth and the carbonation is low like a stout should be. They did a great job with this one. Definitely glad I tried it. High 4.25/5
