Stout & Porter Days 2020 @ St. Urho's Pub. Since "Imenso" is not yet on tap, I'll have Pyhä Urho edition 2020 as a substitute. 🙄 Pours muddy, black. The tame carbonation builds a thin lacing that barely covers the surface. Quickly it's gone. The scent is more or less nonexistent. What?? The palate is not particularly robust, as a matter of fact it's rather thin. I find deep roasted malt, some rye and a decent injection of salty licorice. I can also pick an extremely remote spicy note that resembles aniseed. The body is relatively thin. The beer ends with a tad burned and, some licorice and a pinch of aniseed. Nothing spectacular. The aftertaste has a medium duration. The mouthfeel is light, light-roasty, faintly spiced and distantly wintry. Not a winner.
