PEACE OF COOKIE
Winter 2019
Chocolate chip. Mint chocolate. Good ol’ fashioned sugar cookie. All your favorites are right here in this can. All except oatmeal raisin – you can keep those. A cookie makes everything better, so we decided to bake up a batch of the greatest cookie-inspired stout you’ve ever had. We even included a dash of lactose as a nod to that all-important glass of milk. Make cookies, not war, y’all.

First taste I was like, Wow. Tastes just like a cookie, but it quickly became too much and I lost interest. If 8 want a cookie then I'll eat a cookie.

I had this on tap a little over a year ago, now going to try it out of the can.
Pours with very little head. Looked thick as it went into the glass. Chocolate aroma. Totally opaque brown color. Thick heavy texture but not syrupy. Very creamy. Pleasant milk chocolate to start. Sugar sweetness follows. Interesting finish in that it begins with a bittersweet chocolate followed by a faint mint ending with a short dry mouth feel.
Can't believe this is the same beer I had on tap. Chocolate aroma not sweet roll. No sugar cookie. Definitely some mint in the finish. I liked the other but this one is much better in the can. Strange.

On tap at Blackstone. Small head but it was poured down the side of the glass. Black in color. Aroma is of a sweet roll. Flavor is mild, bittersweet, a little dry. Has a sugar cookie taste with a brief chocolate undertone. Finish is like a cola with a small bitterness.
