The historic STEENBRUGGE Abbey was founded in 1084 by St. Arnold, the patron saint of brewers. Distinguishing itself from other abbeys, Steenbrugge continues the medieval resolution of using 'gruut', a herbal mixture that is one of the secrets to creating a divine drinking experience. And to further uphold century's of high quality, secondary fermentation is painstakingly applied to each bottle.

Personally I like my Tripples a lot spicier, but this is a very decent beer non the less.
