This winter has sucked, big time! Not really need for Winter Warmers but the beer's the beer. Can. Best before 1.5.2020 Temperature: +12 C Amber color, chill haze. Dirty white-colored head looks quite dense and is a long-lasting layer on top of the beer. Looks nice: 4,5/5 The nose is hefty malty with chocolate and toasty notes. Highly hopped and the hops provide fruity and citrusy aromas. Especially grapefruit is strong in this one. A solid scent, not the most exciting though: 4/5 Mouthfeel is medium-full, lots of bitterness which makes this a bit too aggressive. I'd like something smoother from this kind of beer. Low carbonation. Touch of warming alcohol: 3,75/5 Taste is malty, fruity, toasty, mild caramel notes... The aftertaste is lingering, bitter dry: 10,25/15 Mediocre Old Ale/Winter Warmer. Solid beer overall but just drowns into masses, nothing spectacular about this: 14/20 =36,5/50
