Umpisamea, kellertava ja voimakkaasti humalalle tuoksuva soosi on ensi puraisulla todella makea.
Makeus kuitenkin tasoittuu ja humalat ottavat enemmän ryhtiä kokonaisuudesta. OK.

I've had this brew before back in October 2021 and here it is again.
Deep amber in colour and opaque with some head remaining around the glass. Rich tangerine and peach on the nose with apricot, pineapple and soft mango. A whole complex heap of rich and deep fruit aromas that's very enticing, yet you know it's gonna be a big one.
Ooh it's so smooth and soft like whipped cream, it would be incredibly light if it weren't for the decadent body and flavour. It starts off like apricot and tangerine with cream and ends with a sweet and spikey pineapple and pine. Polly's really do know how to hit it out of the park, they've got to be one of the best in the UK at making these big NEIPAs. The pine is increasing for me now and it over shadows the soft fruit and cream of the beginning. But give it a bit more time and the balance evolves, so much so the silky creamness now exists throughout each sip. It's fucking great actually. Rich (sorry for repeating) fruit and pine encompassed by such silky creamy mouthfeel, it's unreal. You sense the 7% ABV but it's not an explicit taste, it only adds to the weight of the brew.
It's oh so beautiful and I think I should rate it a bit higher this time round. I don't know if this is fresher or has recipe variation or my palette is different now, but either way I need to reflect it. Previously rated as 3.9 this time I will bump it up to over 4.

Second 7%er from Polly's after Spur. This one tasted noticeably stronger compared to the 6% Polly's I've had - not that it was too strong.
Lovely orange notes, but I can't help feeling that it would have been better in the 6% bracket for a greater balance. Really good beer, but could have been a stonker.

Deep amber colour on this hefty single hop IPA. Just shy of DIPA status using El Dorado exclusively.
Fresh citrus and tropical fruit on the nose, like orange peel, pineapple and mango. It actually smells a bit sweet.
Ooh this is lush and a bit different. Silky in the mouth with full body and a medium to short finish at this early stage of tasting. It's big and juicy, almost tart in a deep way not a short sharp way. Pineapple indeed but also pear, watermelon, apricot, peach, plum orange peel, mango and a piney finish that leaves it counter balanced and quite clean. It's's a big beer even straight out of the fridge!
As this brew approaches ambient it gets deeper and richer, more stone fruit less citrus but it remains silky smooth, gets thicker and pine at the end is this there as a palette cleanser of sorts.
