Flight 2/4. Semilucid, copper beer with shy, rapid carbonation lays sluggishly a white-gray ring of minuscule bubbles circling the surface. That ring remains on the top for astonishingly long. The olfactory provision is lovely: a good stem of sweet-leaning smoke, distinct cured ham and a small injection of tar. Perhaps also a biscuity whisper lingers behind the corner. The palate displays light-sweet smoked malt and a drop of tar. The biscuity element is probably intensifying whereas the cured ham leaves carnivores hungry. A whisper of apricot tries to bring in a bit of fruit but fails. The body is relatively light although not thin. The finish gains slightly more bitter elements but the smoky note is still present. It's, nevertheless, not sweet anymore. The cured ham is absent from the finish. A remote citrusy note follows but remains unidentifiable to a large extent. The aftertaste keeps the tastebuds awake and tickled for long. The mouthfeel is light, a bit smoked, rather soft and somewhat lip-glueing.
