Nice cereal smell with roasted flavours. The taste is very roasted and toasted. Nice little bitterness that supports the flavours and it's pretty refreshing. Nice beer! Pretty stout, and relatively complex and balanced!

Great flavor smooth

I figured I’d re-review this as I did not give it justice as it was back when I first started on this app. This has a toffee malt taste with some stone fruit that is plum and black cherry mainly. I still find it overly sugary sweet, even for the style. I think that is the problem. Some people say this is excellent around here. I just don’t get it The best ones are the German ones. I have seen some crafts get it right but it’s not always the case.

Very nice. ABV is well hidden.

Malty and mildly sweet, just what you want from dopplebock. Truly one of my top beers.
