Smells like a Moscow mule with the strange addition of peppermint. Taste has a noticeable amount of rye whiskey first, followed by lime, peppermint and ginger. The rye whiskey lingers in the aftertaste. Very interesting flavor. I'm not sure the peppermint tea is a necessary addition, but apparently they did. To me it's a distracting addition that adds no (good) value to this beer. Medium body with a medium-ish amount of carbonation.
As with most beers, I'm glad I tried it. Bonus points for it being given to me by my cousin, which likely saved me around $7. This is probably going to be the only time I have this. It's not terrible, but it's not for me. 3/5
