First beer from the Sori Brewing Beer Store order I purchased last Wednesday. Came quite fast, on Saturday, though I was able to pick it up today due to my trip to Tampere. Was a bit of hazzle to order, since I had a wrong region selected in the store and had to re-pick all the beers. Ultimately, I forgot to add the Sori-logo beer glass to my order, which lead into a great frustration when I realised it today. Dark humour club. I've tasted half of it or so, and the missing half I've now gathered. Beginning with coconut. Best before 26/10/21, I'll assume it's 3 years they give for non-BA stouts, so 1.5 years old. Scent is quite subtle. There's milk chocolate, coconut flakes, cream, dark fruits, roastiness. Taste has coconut, I wanna say pineapple but that's not possible. Some spices, like cinnamon maybe. Dark fruits, definitely cinnamon, dry roasty and even a bit watery finish. That didn't start too well. Lightweight body and flavours. Perhaps there's still some silver toffee left in the glass? Warmed up, body gets better. I suppose 12 to 15 degrees wasn't warm enough. Wateriness stays only in taste. I'm getting some fruity hint, not really cocoa nor coconut. Cinnamon, too. Wonder if it's supposed to be like this. Oh well. Maybe the coconuts have run off, just like that one Polish pastry stout warned. There's dark chocolate, coconuts are really in the background here. Unfortunately. ------- Additional memoir: adding a new online store doesn't work. When adding its location with Google maps, it doesn't save it when clicking save. Just gives your personal location instead of the location you try to put in. Gosh, sometimes this app just surprises you. Maybe it's Google's issue, I wouldn't know.

Opaque black beer. A thin, fawn head emerges on the surface. The scent displays powerful coconut, dark chocolate and cacao nibs. Bounty-like. The taste receptors enjoy dark coconut chocolate, cacao nibs and a distant coffeeish nuance. I also find a whisper of Bourbon. The finish is light-tangy with black coffee, raw chocolate and bitter coconut flesh. The aftertaste rolls on tongue for quite some time. The mouthfeel is a bit strong, slightly tangy and also lip-glueing. It's also relatively desserty.

Jaahas, tymäkkä. Ei kyllä istu yhtään tähän kosteaan hiki-keliin. Ei täystyrmäystä, mutta parempiakin stoutteja vetänyt.

Sori ei taaskaan petä. Makeutta on sopivasti ja esiin tulee sekä suklaa että mieto kahvi. Kookosta ei mausta oikein meinaa löytyä, mikä on sääli. Todella maukas imperial stout joka häviää lasista turhankin nopeasti.
