This is the first original beer variety, created in the Piebalga brewery, and is still our most enjoyed beer. A golden lager with a pronounced malt taste, bitterness of hops, and an invariably Latvian spirit. Enjoy with pride!

Nice restaurant. Lovely food. The menu has pilsner from the local craft brewery, but it’s sold out, so I have to drink this. Too sweet for me. I suspect the English menu has a typo, because they also sell “soap”.

Huikka huikalta paranee. Hieman makeutta, maun terävyyttä, mutta suu tottuu. Ihan ok perus olunen, meni ruokailun yhteydessä helposti alun "järkytyksen" jälkeen.

Kullankeltainen, kirkas, hyvä vaahto. Maltainen, sopivasti humalaa. Ihan jees, jos latvialaisille oluille tyypillinen makeus ei haittaa

Ihan positiivinen yllätys. Kaveri kuvasi, että voisi juoda pillillä kun on niin makeaa. No kieltämättä makeaa on, mutta ei mitään hunajaolutta kuitenkaan!
